What are “Self Guided Tours”?
We provide you with the same equipment and transport options as our guided tour guests, but instead of following at our pace, you will be free to explore the route at your own pace. Spend longer in certain areas, go faster through others or even take a detour!
You will receive a pre-tour briefing from our guides at the start point and be provided with clear route maps and instructions. In addition to this, you will also have access to GPS assisted route maps via your mobile phone (requires the Google Maps app). You are ultimately responsible for your own navigation and self sufficiency. Additional charges will apply if you require assistance or collection after departure. If you feel you may require additional support we recommend booking the guided versions of our tours.
Participant Requirements
Our Stingrays & Everglades Kayak Tour is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for most people — with a little bit of preparation and the right expectations.

💪 Basic Fitness Required
You should feel comfortable kayaking at a steady, relaxed pace for around 2 hours. Conditions vary slightly depending on wind and weather, but it’s not a race — it’s about enjoying the journey.
👨👩👧 All Ages Welcome
There’s no strict age limit — our kayaks are adaptable, even for families with infants. However, children 12 and under must share a kayak with an adult.
